Epotec Epoxy Bog

A unique and novel two pack epoxy product for marine, industrial and architectural fairing, and filling where an
epoxy is required. Has been formulated to exhibit similar fairing characteristics to light weight polyester
systems but to have the cured superior adhesion, water resistance, and strengths of an epoxy.
TYPICAL USES Repair of holes and cracks in Construction
timber, Masonry, Plaster, Primed Metal and Cement. Marine and Industrial fairing and filling.
PERFORMANCE Sands 12 hours @ 20°C. Exhibits good working
time off the knife.
Note: This system does not cure like polyesters (5-10 minutes) but requires approximately twelve hours to
achieve a sandable state. This is necessary as the slowness is inherent to control exotherm with negligible
shrinkage and allow a high degree of adhesion to the substrate.
Prepare the surface as per COTEC specification.
LIMITATIONS Not designed as a standalone product below the waterline but will give exceptional water resistance. Overcoat
as detailed in on next page. Suitable for filling and fairing > 5mm. For Holes, Voids and Cracks 5mm+ refer to
