Fire Ext 1.0kg ABE Dry Powder

Dry powders are considered to be a multi-purpose extinguishant, covering classes of fire A, B, C, & E, and are clearly identified by the white coloured band towards the top of the cylinder. They are one of the most common extinguishers, and are suitable for residential spaces, cars, boats, and caravans.

They are characterised by their high performance, simple operation, quick fire knock down, and are light weight.

Dry powder extinguishers work by discharging a very fine powder that blankets the fuel source and smothers the fire.

Powder content is Mono-Ammonium Phosphate ABE type (85% MAP content).



Suitable for the following classes of fire:

Class A – Wood, Paper & Plastic

Class B – Flammable & Combustible Liquids

Class C – Flammable Gasses

Class E – Energised Electrical Equipment
