The Haydn 230mm Deck and Stain Refill Paint Pad is great for smooth to rough surfaces. For all paints, stains and sealers on timber and is suitable for oil and Water based paints. Some solvent based stains may cause the foam backing to break down. Not suitable for rough sawn timber
